Congratulations to our Y11s!

Congratulations and well done to all of our fantastic Y11s on their excellent GCSE results today!

Yet again, our Hardwick House students have achieved higher than the national figure for all schools, with 57% of our students achieving a grade 5 or above in English and Maths.

In addition to 100% of our students making expected progress in Maths, 57% attained at least one grade higher. This is testament to both student’s and staff’s hard work and their commitment to education, particularly through the recent disruption. 86% of the cohort made their expected progress in English, with 57% achieving at least 2 grades higher – well done!

Our results demonstrate, for another year, how Hardwick’s innovative approach to curriculum design and creative delivery of GCSE qualifications is personal for each learner, supporting them to reach or exceed their potential.

These results signify not only academic achievement but also a significant personal achievement for each of our students. Their journey has not been a straightforward one, but we are delighted that all of our students are staying in education and are transitioning to an appropriate course at a new school or college to continue their studies. We wish them all further success as they all move on to the next stage of education!

We look forward to developing our curriculum offer for the academic year 2021-22 with the introduction of both GCSE Geography and GCSE History, delivered by a specialist Humanities Teacher. If you would like to find out more about Hardwick House, please get in touch with us via the school website and our team will be happy to help.
